Call for Entries: The 1st Kim Young-Gil Holistic Global Citizenship Award
In honor of the educational philosophy of the late founding president Dr. Kim Young-Gil of Handong Global University, this award seeks to recognizes individuals and institutions that have demonstrated innovative and sustainable practices in the fields of global citizenship, holistic education, and global leadership.

Holistic Global Citizenship Paper Award
This category invites submissions of papers published in domestic and international academic journals (including SCI and SCOPUS) within the last three years. Eligible works should present strong academic merit and creative insights in areas such as international development, educational innovation, global citizenship education, or social welfare.
Holistic Global Citizenship Educator Award
This category recognizes educators including teachers from elementary, middle, and high schools, alternative schools, and NGOs, who have been active in the last three years. The award honors those who have effectively integrated holistic global citizenship education into their teaching practice and have made a significant impact on cultivating global citizenship among students.
Holistic Medical Mission Award
This category honors medical professionals, public health experts, and field-based practitioners, active in the last three years. It recognizes individuals who have advanced the values of holistic global citizenship through their service in healthcare, public health initiatives, and medical missions both domestically and internationally.
Application Deadline: August 31(KST)
Evaluation Period: September
Award Ceremony: September 16 (Tuesday) at the Kim Young-Gil GRACE School, Handong Global University (attendance required)
